Generating some ideas

The 4th grade teachers have put together a list of questions and things to think about as you write your paper:
  • What's the historical significance of the national park or monument?
  • Where did it get its name?
  • Why do people visit this national park or monument?
  • What kind of wildlife might be found in this park? Plants? Flowers?
  • What's the climate like in the summer and winter?
  • Describe the features of this park or monument.
  • Explain any problems that this park or monument may be facing in the years to come.

Citing your sources

  • Keep track of your sources so you can cite them later -- that means that you can give your resources credit. Click here to learn how to cite sources for your paper.
